Mehmet Ali Konar hat 2006 seinen Abschluss an der Kommunikationsfakultät der Marmara-Universität in Istanbul erworben. Er hat dann kurzzeitig als Regieassistent bei Dokumentar- und Spielfilmen gearbeitet. Konar ist Autor und Regisseur des Spielfilms COLORLESS DREAM. DER TANZ VON ALI UND MUTTER ZIN ist sein zweiter Spielfilm.
